Charlie Russell

Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 – October 24, 1926) Known as C. M. Russell or Charlie Russell, was a prolific artist of the Old West. In addition to bronze sculptures Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States and Canada. Known as 'the cowboy artist', Russell was also a storyteller and author. His influence continues among many artists today. This life sized bronze casting depicts "Charlie Russell" with his hat famously tipped back, collared shirt, and necktie.
